Hollandaise Sauce

I absolutely love Hollandaise Sauce, always have and always will.

For the longest time, I was under the impression that one of the main ingredients in a homemade Hollandaise Sauce was flour. Don’t laugh at me if you knew it wasn’t. What the heck is wrong with me? I’m not sure who it is that told me that or why I even thought that to begin with…

But now I’m here to break the rumor and show you how to make a real deal Hollandaise Sauce right at home without a double boiler or any fancy tools. I do have a million kitchen thingamabobs; I assure you you don’t need any of these to make this simple Hollandaise Sauce  In fact, all you need is one tool, a food processor or blender. It’s perfect if you don’t have one or the other because there’s no excuse not to jump into the kitchen right now and make a batch of this incredibly creamy Hollandaise Sauce because you should have at least one of them. You better! Ha.

I certainly love Eggs Benedict and plan on figuring out a recipe for that soon—stay tuned—but if it was up to me, I would put Hollandaise Sauce on absolutely everything. Now that I came up with this perfectly simple recipe for a homemade version, I actually can!

Hollandaise Sauce

Did you ever think you’d see the day that you can make Hollandaise Sauce in a blender or food processor?! Honestly, neither did I.
I thought the days of eating Hollandaise Sauce were over and now I’m here to tell you that they are just beginning. I wish I would’ve thought of this sooner because I would have made some for Easter Sunday brunch and serve with freshly poached eggs. There’s always next time, right?

What will you drizzle your fresh and homemade Hollandaise Sauce on? I’m thinking steak and I’m even thinking gluten-free pizza.

Is that even a thing? I could basically bathe in it and I would never get tired of the flavor. I’m crazy, I know. Hello, we’ve gone over this before.
The simplicity of this sauce is out of control and it’s definitely a new kitchen stable in our house and I can promise it’s never going out of style. Will you make it a staple in your kitchen?

XO
