I always have Bacon Jam—this one or this one—in the fridge. Last summer, I got into the Bacon Jam making groove and I have been obsessed ever since. I put a little bit of it on everything. You can throw some on your eggs, you can butter up some gluten-free toast, and you can make the meanest and leanest Bacon Jam Turkey Burgers.
I made a dedicated batch of Savory Bacon Jam with only turkey bacon specifically to make these burgers. I love turkey burgers and mixing them up with my favorite recipe of Savory Bacon Jam is the perfect combination. Don’t forget to snag the leanest possible ground turkey, it won’t taste the same if not.
Onto TV madness, I love the show Mistresses, besides the fact that it takes forever for them to release a season—or even just one episode. I got a notification last week that there was a new episode from Season 4 available on my Hulu+ watch list. I was eager to turn it on upon arriving home that day to watch it with my honey on our brand spanking new couch.
It was a wonderful episode but to my disappointment they still have not brought Alyssa Milano back into the picture. What are they waiting for to bring back Savannah’s character? I don’t know. My wife doesn’t really miss her all that much but for some reason I do. Kind of funny because she misses Elena from Vampire Diaries and I certainly do not. We’re two peas in a pod with different minds.
