Sweet Whipped Chantilly Cream {Crème Chantilly}

How was your Easter weekend? Ours was fantastic. We also got a lot done this week. Productivity at its finest. Did you enjoy your spring break? We sure did here at the Lopez-Sarraff residence. I can assure you there was a lot of Crème Chantilly being passed around the table throughout the week. We served our Banana Cream Pie for my father’s birthday last Monday and, again, yesterday for our family Easter Sunday brunch. It was delicious and the addition of our fresh, sweet whipped Crème Chantilly was absolute perfection.

Now that Easter is over, I realized how many of my recipes call for our homemade Chantilly Cream. It’s a little redundant to rewrite the recipe of our Crème Chantilly into each blog post that calls for a batch. But, I have been doing this for way too long, it is about time to share it with you. Read on as I pass you the baton…

I would much rather add my Sweet Whipped Chantilly Cream as an ingredient listing the set of directions. It’s rather easy so after you make it once or twice, you can basically lock down the recipe and know it by heart. By now, my wife and I both do. It’s quick and easy and tastes delicious! A dollop of this goes along way and ultimately enhances the flavor of anything sweet you make, especially some fresh, creamy Banana Cream Pie.

Chantilly Cream

Anywho, I had to kill the rest of what was left before it went bad. I wouldn’t say it does too well in the fridge because the stiff peaks turn into sadness. Don’t fret, I don’t think it’ll last for you to even make it into the fridge. For this last batch I made of Crème Chantilly—from yesterday’s Banana Cream Pie, I set some aside so that I could scoop up while I write this post.

One moment while I take a spoonful of some leftover Sweet Whipped Chantilly Cream I have in the fridge for a quick burst of energy…

XO
