Some days are just so long. They feel like they can go on forever and never end. After two or three cups of coffee, my body is on overdrive and for sure not going to be put down easy when it’s time to get some rest at night. As always, we came up with a simple and all natural remedy, Essential Oil Sweet Dreams Roll-on, to kick our butts straight into REM sleep.
The sweet smell of pine needles sends me straight to heaven. I don’t know if it’s because it has a hint of Christmas or it just takes me to a happy place somewhere in the woods. The fresh scent of pine needle oil is balancing and grounding. It gives you that down to earth feel but you need to to get put in the right mode before your dreams start flowing.
Lavender is known for putting anxiety at bay and relaxing the body. It’s known for its healing properties and for the way you could melt your worries away. Naturally, of course. That’s for sure meant but it would be the most powerful ingredient in our sweet dreams elixir.
Of course, tangy yet sweet lemongrass cannot be left behind. With just one simple sniff, lemongrass begins reducing your stress levels and relaxing your muscles. That’s exactly what you need when you’re trying to get your mind at ease. Sometimes I have a slight headache before bed as I’m trying to come down from the day, lemongrass quickly relieves headaches as well, packing a super healing punch.
Ahhh, our latest and most favorite essential oil to date is white fir. Promoting healthy respiratory function, your lungs can begin to contract more air for the perfect slumber. This is a very powerful essential oil that evokes feelings of stability and empowerment. These clean and crisp feelings put your body right where it needs to be for some really good sleep.
